tine in 1938 in the service of
the Jewish Agency. He
served for eight years as
ambassador of Israel to the

ERWIN SIPORIN
Erwin Siporin is seeking
re-election to the Oak Park
School Board, the election
for which will take place
Monday.
A school board trustee
since 1970, Siporin has
served as president, vice
president, secretary and
treasurer.
He has served on the
PTAs of Key School, Frost
Junior High and the PTSA
of Oak Park High School.
He also was affiliated with
the Area Council PTA. He
also is a Cub and Boy Scout
leader.

Dr. Uri Dinner, senior
member of Technion's
biomedical engineering de-
partment, will speak on
"Medical Engineering at
the Technion —Israel Insti-
tute of Technologi." The

the current events film, "Is-
rael Reports."
Dr. Dinner, on sabbatical
from the Technion and cur-
rently at Michigan State
University, will discuss
Technion's work on a new
type or artificial kidney,
heart assist devices and
blood flow research and Is-
rael's development of medi-
cal instruments which are
exported throughout the
world.
