Economic Advisers to the

man Administration and in

member of the Cabinet and
the National Security
Council.

will be the recipient of the
Prime Minister's Medal, Is-
rael's highest civilian
award, in recognition of his
achievement as a distin-
guished banker, communal
leader and humanitarian,
and for outstanding support
of Israel's economic de-
velopment as a sister demo-
cracy.

Dr. Hershel Sandberg has
accepted the role of chair-
man of the Medical Physi-
cians Division of State of Is-
rael Bonds, succeeding Dr.
Joel I. Hamburger.

Dr. Sandberg has been ac-
tively involved in the Israel
Bond program for many
years, and is currently a
member of the Israel Bond
Ambassador's Society of
Trustees. He is associated
with Sinai, Mt. Cannel and
Detroit General Hospitals,
and is a staff teacher at
Sinai Hospital in the field of
endocrinology and is assis-
tant clinical professor of
medicine at Wayne State
University School of
Medicine.

Dr. Sandberg is a
member of the boards of
Cong. Shaarey Zedek and
Federation Apartments.
He is a member of the
Zionist Organization of
Detroit and is active in
the Allied Jewish Cam-
paign.

He is the regional rep-
resentative of Givat
Haviva, a private organiza-
tion dedicated to establish-
ing schools in Israel, on
selected kibutzim, for un-
derprivileged and troubled
teenagers from Israel's
larger cities.
