Teacher Center Conference there. Ms. Peleg joined

Jewish teaching and professional growth programs.

at Oak-Woods Bond Dinner
Rabbi Max N. Schreier,
president of the Rabbinic
Alumni Association of
Yeshiva University and
spiritual leader of Avenue
N Jewish Center in Brook-
lyn, will be the guest
speaker at the Young Israel
of Oak-Woods tribute din-
ner on behalf of Israel
Bonds.
The dinner, to be held at 7
p.m. Wednesday at Young
Israel of Oak-Woods, will
honor Rabbi James I. Gor-
don for his "many years of
devoted service to Israel, his
congregation and his com-
munity." He will be the re-
cipient of Israel's "30th An-
niversary Award."
Rabbi Schreier is the sec-
retary of the Religious
Zionists of America and
president of the Brooklyn
Board of Rabbis. He serves
on the executive committee
of the Rabbinical Council of
America and the New York
Board of Rabbis.
Chairing the dinner is
Sol Lessman. Co-
chairpersons are Ronald
Berman, Mrs. David
Dombey, Milton Duchan,
Leslie Krakovitz and Ab-
raham Selesny. The event
will include the installa-
tion of Young Israel's of-
