Detroiters Invited to Attend
Fall SZ Hospital Dedication

In conjunction with the
June 5 "Dedication Dinner"
of the Detroit Friends of
Shaare Zedek Hospital at
the Sheraton-Southfield
Hotel, the director general
of the Jerusalem facility,
Dr. David M. Maier, has in-
vited Detroiters to attend
the new medical center's
dedication ceremonies in
November.
The week-long festivities
will begin Nov. 6 with a
ceremony at Jerusalem's
Western Wall and a recep-
tion at the Jerusalem Hil-
ton. There will be an open-
ing ceremony, dedication
and reception at the new
hospital Nov. 7.
The following day there
will be guided tours, a spe-
cial concert by the Israel
Philharmonic Orchestra

Week Observed

Suicide Prevention Week
was observed this week by
the American Association of
Suicidology. Dr. Bruce L.
Danto is president of the
association.
The observance pays par-
ticular attention to the
association's year-round
campaign to save lives by
acquainting people with the
danger signs of suicide and
teaching them what to do
when those signs are pre-
sent.

George Fenton, a law
student in Houston, Texas,
was in West Bloomfield re-
cently to visit his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Sam (Lillian)
Fenton, and to attend the
brit mile of his nephew,
Aaron Elliott Fenton, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Randall
(Kathy) Fenton of South-
