Daniel Rosenbaum Named JNF Assistant Director Daniel Rosenbaum, son of Rabbi and Mrs. Milton Rosenbaum, has assumed the position of assistant di- rector of the Jewish Na- tional Fund, Greater De- troit and Michigan Region. Mark Schlussel, JNF president, announced. Rosenbaum will assist Percy Kaplan, the JNF executive director. Born in Ft. Worth, Texas, Rosenbaum came to Detroit in 1956 when Rabbi Rosen- baum became spiritual leader of Temple Emanu-El. He received a BA degree in history and Judaic studies from the University of Michigan. While at U of M, he participated in Samba- tyon and Hillel. He also studied at the Hebrew Union College — Jewish In- stitute of Religion in Jerusalem and Cincinnati. Before coming to the JNF, Rosenbaum was co-founder of MAKOM — The Chicago Jewish Ex- perience, an experimen- tal synagogue in Chicago. He actively participated in organizational and musical activities there.
