Annual Meeting
Slated at Center

Women workers and con-
tributors to the 1978 Allied
Jewish Campaign-Israel
Emergency Fund will
gather noon Thursday at
the Jewish Community
Center for the 32nd annual
meeting of the Jewish Wel-
fare Federation Women's
Division. Luncheon will be
served.
On the agenda are elec-
tion of officers and board
members for the coming
year. Outgoing President
Carolyn Greenberg will re-
port on the division's varied
activities during the past
year, and Campaign
Chairman Dulcie Rosenfeld
will give an update of the
division's participation in
the 1978 Campaign. Jewish
Welfare Federation
President Martin E. Citrin
will greet those attending
the meeting.
A highlight of the meet-
ing will be a special musi-
cal program prepared by
president
former
Weiner.
Josephine
Entitled "High Notes,"
the program is a musical
history of the Women's
Division.
Lea Field is chairman of
the annual meeting plan-
ning committee. Leah
Snider is vice president for
program.

Berry Named
by Seminary

Harold Berry has been
named to the board of over-
seers of The Jewish
Theological Seminary of
America.
Berry is a member of the
board of trustees and a
former president of Cong.
Shaarey Zedek. He is a trus-
tee and past president of the
Luella Hannan Memorial
Home, a former vice
president and chairman of
the real estate and building
division of the Allied Jewish
Campaign and a member of
the Detroit Service Group.
His contributions have been
recognized by the American
Jewish Committee, which
gave him its Human Rela-
tions Award in 1976, and by
State of Israel Bonds, which
gave him its United
Jerusalem Award in 1977.

Redstone Cited
as Book Editor

The Detroit Chapter of
the American Institute of
Architects will mark the
publication of "Hospitals
and Health Care Facilities,"
second edition, edited by
Louis G. Redstone, at a re-
ception 4 p.m. Thursday at
the ALA headquarters, 553
E. Jefferson.

Published by McGraw-
Hill, the book demonstrates
how some new approaches
to health facility planning
work. The book focuses on
health care planning-
theory and practice, new
hospitals, updating existing
facilities, health related
facilities and combined
medical treatment.
