Shaarey Zedek. Speaking on the confer- ence theme "The Challenge of the Present and the Fu- ture," Mrs. Perry recently stated that "the world is shrinking electronically, but at the same time the as- pirations of individuals and groups are expanding. "We must face the chal- lenge of a world where women are striving for in- dividual fulfillment, and find answers which will not be disruptive of the essen- tial role of the woman as homemaker and mother." She said that the Women's League pro- vides "tools" to help its member sisterhoods "to meet the challenges of the present and forward- looking programs for the future." She said the League's Jewish Family Living and Membership departments have been distributing materials to aid single women, whether widowed, Tues - Fri 10-9 Mon & Sat 10-6 Sun 12-5 EVERGREEN PLAZA— SOUTHFIELD Evergreen & 12 Mile Rd.-559-8680 divorced or never married.
