Concert pianist Artur Balsam, and violinist Kath- leen Winkler and violist Hart Hollman will perform in concert 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Shiffman Hall of the main Jewish Community Center complex. He was execu- tive director of the Demo- cratic National Committee from 1975 to 1977. As a member of the personnel advisory group of the Carter-Mondale transition he was responsible for the preparation of detailed can- didate review books for Cabinet positions for the President's review. Of the 41 books produced by the group, he personally com- pleted 23. Dr. Siegel was the Presidential representative on the fact finding mission to Egypt and Israel coincid- ing with Sadat's visit to Jerusalem, November, 1977. He traveled inten- sively, visiting different Jewish groups throughout the U.S. in order to explain the President's position in respect to Israel and the Middle East.
