"It is sheer nonsense to compare Poles with Nazis. Poles suffered no less than we did. We suffered greater losses proportion-wise, but the Poles also suffered enormously. The Polish na- tion was the only nation which never had any Quisl- ing into the bargain as all the others had: Romania, France, Hungary, Slovakia, Norway. There was never a Quisling in Poland. "I think that the behavior of U.S. television is very un- fair and I am not going to conceal that." Goldmann was also quoted by PAP as saying that he would like a large assembly of Jewish lead- ers from all over the world to be held in Au- schwitz, the former Nazi AJCongress Has Morocco Tour Morocco is the newest destination of the American Jewish Congress travel program, according to Mrs. Ruth S. Rosenbaum, regional director. The ancient cities of Rabat, Fez, Marrakesh and Casablanca and the modern city of Tangier will be on the .itinerary; a blend of bazaars, native craftsmen, Jewish ghettoes and Mus- lim monuments will be seen as well. The first tour is scheduled to depart in November for Morocco. There are more than 24 itineraries and 300 de- parture dates to places of Jewish interest everywhere in the world in the AJCongress pro- gram. Special programs for those 39 and under, both singles and mar- rieds, are now featured, and a special singles con- vention will take place this summer as well. Those interested in any of the AJCongress tours may call Mrs. Rosenbaum at the AJCongress office, 357- 2766. Yiddish Play Shows Nazi Resistance LONDON (JTA) — A Yiddish play about Jewish resistance to the Nazis writ- ten in Russia more than 30 years ago is having its world premiere at the Yiddish State Theater in Warsaw. It is "Widerstand" — meaning "resistance" — by Soviet Jewish author Noah Luriah, who died in 1960. Among the audience at a performance last week were the Israeli and other dele- gates who were in Poland for the commemoration of the 35th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. concentration camp. He also said he would ask organizations with which he was connected to hold assemblies of their lead- ers in Auschwitz every year. Meanwhile, West Ger- man television officials have purchased "Holocaust" for showing in Germany by early 1979.
