May 14 has been set for the First Annual Chai Long Distance Run at the Jewish Community Center of Met- ropolitan Detroit. The Chai Long Distance Run will feature four dis- tances for participants to accomplish, 3-6-12-18 (Chai) miles. Each runner will receive a special com- memorative T-shirt. All participants completing 18 (Chai) miles will receive a sterling silver pendant de- s igned for this event by Morris Bednarsh. The Chai Long Distance Run Committee is co- chaired by Louis Milgrom and Phil Minkin, "When you are physically healthy you are alert, better moti- vated and happier. Jogging can keep the participant in good physical and mental condition. We are confident that joggers from the Met- ropolitan Detroit area will want to participate in this run." Greenberg was born in Belopolie Vinnitsky Gubernia about 1890, and immigrated to the U.S. around 1910. Greenberg sought his brothers in Russia in 1972. The nephew is V.L.
