NEW YORK (ZINS) — A New York Magazine article written by Sol Stern claims that the former president of the World Jewish Congress, Nahum Goldmann, has told Secretary of State Cyrus Vance and National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski that they must "break the Jewish lobby" in the U.S. Goldmann also was sup- posed to have called the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations "a major obs- tacle" to Middle East peace and "a destructive force."
