May TV Special Marks Israel 30th NEW YORK (JTA) — A spectacular all-star cast has been assembled for "The Stars Salute Israel at 30," a gigantic entertainment show celebrating the 30th anniversary of the state of Israel, airing May 8 on ABC-TV (Channel 7 in De- troit). The event itself will be presented under the au- spices of the American Committee to Celebrate Is- rael's 30th Anniversary. Vice President Walter Mondale is chairman of the committee and the event. The Michigan Dental Association's highest award has been presented post- humously to long-time Flint dentist Dr. Max Hart. Dr. Hart, who died April 9, practiced dentistry in Flint for more than 30 years. He was president of the Michigan Dental Associa- tion in 1973-74. In addition to numerous affiliations with dental societies, Dr. Hart also was active in the Genesee County Council on Social Agencies and in the United Way. Mr. Graff, who resided at 3006 Chicago, is survived by three sons, James, Robert and Mark of Denver, Colo.; a daughter, Cheryl Gray; and four grandchildren. Gentlemen's Agreement Israel Soldiers Courtmartialed TEL AVIV (JTA) — The army announced that two officers, a lieutenant colonel and a lieutenant — whose names were not im- mediately announced — will be courtmartialed for alleged negligence in per- formance of their duties in south Lebanon. The case involves six Is- raeli soldiers and a civilian who crossed Israeli lines into terrorist-held territory in the Tyre region last month and were sub- sequently ambushed. Four soldiers were killed and one was wounded and captured. The civilian and another soldier, though wounded, managed to return to Israeli lines. Pioneer Honored RISHON LE-ZION (JTA) — Premier Menahem Begin honored one of Israel's pioneer settlers, Eitan Bel- kind, on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
