to reach a goal of $1.5 mill-
ion in loan fund dollars for
Israel by May 5.
"Prime Minister Begin is
scheduled to return to the
United States in May to join
in celebrations of Israel's
30th anniversary," said
Hermelin, "and will be
meeting with Israel Bond
leadership during his visit.
The mobilization of
maximum cash will tangi-
bly demonstrate our Jewish
community's support dur-
ing a time of great stress for
Israel."
Hermelin said a Cash
Mobilization Committee is
being formed, and cash
payments will be- solicited
from all previously commit-
ted 1978 Prime Minister's
Club and Ambassador's Soc-
iety of Trustees members,
as well as new commit-
ments made during the cash
mobilization drive.

1978 Israel Bond campaign
will mark Israel's three de-
cades of independence, in-
cluding-the 30th Anniver-
sary Award, presented to
honorees of Israel Bond
events, and a newly created
category of the National
Honorary Societies, the
"30th Anniversary Prime
Minister" (subscribers to
$30,000 in Israel Bonds.)
Other special awards,
programs and presentations
are being planned,
Stollman said, in an all-out
effort to activate all mem-
bers of the Jewish commun-
ity toward observing Is-
rael's 30th year through
support of Israel's economic
development program.
