According to Menashe Eliachar, president of the Jerusalem Chamber of Commerce, Israel could buy peace for $200 million depo- sited in a Swiss account. David Ben-Gurion ques- tioned what would happen to the "peace" if Shishakly were deposed. This, in fact, later happened and Shishakly was assassi- nated. With chicken, mushrooms and fresh asparagus.
