Giraffe Dies

TEL AVIV — Shlomo the

giraffe died Tuesday at the
Tel Aviv zoo, after two days.
of being unable to rise from
the ground after falling. .
Zoo spokesmen said the
eight-year-old giraffe had
earlier injured a leg, but did
not know if that contributed
to the animal's fall.
