nounced the formation of a
million Israeli pound fund
to promote the advantages
of Sharm vacations to po-
tential tourists from Israel
and abroad, with the coop-
eration of Reuven Aloni, di-
rector of the Southern Sinai
Development Authority.
Arkia Inland Airlines,
the Egged Bus Cooperative
and the Ministry of Com-
merce, Industry and
Tourism, as well as Shiff
Hotels Ltd., are particip-
ants in this fund.
Home for Aged Residents

Home for the Aged. This activity was part of a group

Nini Lectures
Are Cancelled
The two-week
schedule of lectures
and discussions that
were to be conducted
by Yehuda Nini as
the Detroit Zionist
Federation's
scholar-in-residence
program have been
cancelled.
Nini, a lecturer at
Tel Aviv University
and a reservist in the
Israeli army, was cal-
led up to serve with
his unit in Lebanon.
The American
Zionist Federation
was unable to secure
a qualified replace-
ment and the Detroit
Zionist Federation
was forced to cancel
the programs.
Sharon Gutman,
executive director of
the DZF, stated, "We

M. Perlmutter, Led N.J.
SHORT HILLS, N.J.,
(JTA) —Milton Perlmutter,
the newly-elected president
of the Jewish Community
Federation of Metropolitan
New Jersey, died March 15
at age 50.
Mr. Perlmutter, who had
been president of the Feder-
ation for only two weeks,
was active in many philan-
thropic organizations. He
was the immediate past
general chairman of the
Metropolitan New Jersey
Division of State of Israel
Bonds and recently received
the Prime Minister's Medal
from Israel Bonds.
He also was the 1977 re-
cipient of the annual
Brotherhood Award of the
New Jersey Region of the
National Council of Christ-
ians and Jews. He was a
Jews
former president of Bnai
Jeshurun in Short Hills and
the Jewish Community
Foundation of Metropolite
New Jersey. He was a trus-
tee of the Jewish Commun-
ity Foundation, the Hebrew
Youth Academy and the
Jewish Community De-
velopment Corp., all in Met-
ropolitan New Jersey.
Born in Newark, Mr.
Perlmutter was a graduate
of the Wharton School of Fi-
nance at the University of
Pennsylvania.
