region of the American
Jewish Congress and the
Rutgers Urban Clinic, a
facility of the Rutgers Uni-
versity Law School.
The centers are operated
by the YM-YWHA, an
agency of the Jewish Com-
munity Federation of Met-
ropolitan New Jersey.
The counseling will be
provided by 36 third-year
Rutgers law students, about
half of them women, visit-
ing three of the centers on a
weekly basis and the fourth
monthly. Assignments for
the students, permitted in
New Jersey to take trial ac-

licensed attorney, will be
rotated so that many will be
able to "benefit from the
learning experience,"

Retired corporate execu-
tives have been given an
opportunity to continue
using their abilities and ex-
pertise at Jewish
Federation-Council agen-
cies through a special feder-
ation program.
A total of 13 pre-screened
retired executives were
oriented to Jewish agencies
at a 13-week course under
Prof. Gerald Bubis at the
Hebrew Union College
school of Jewish communal
studies.
The 13 participants spent
one eight-hour day together
each week, attending class
and visiting federation-
affiliated agencies. Most of
the executives had already
been placed at such agen-
cies as Jewish Family Ser-
vice, Council on Aging, the
federation's community
