Moonie Leaders

SILVER SPRING, Md.-
Jewish Moonie leaders will
be publicly excommuni-
cated from the Jewish faith
March 19 at the New York
Hilton for "actively engag-
ing in the physical and
spiritual destruction of the
Jewish people" according to
Rabbi Marvin Friedman,
executive director of the
"Supreme Rabbinic Court of
America."
According to the "Court's
halakhic decision the
Jewish Moonie leaders are
falsely telling Jews that
Moonism is a continuation
of Judaism and that by join-
ing the Unification Church,
they will be better equipped
to understand Judaism.
They are indoctrinating and
programming Jewish youth
to die for the Unification
Church and Sun Myung
Moon."

Aaron Shifman and Marvin
Talan are associate chair-
men; Sidney Freedland and
