Arabs Ask Funds
Equal to Israel
from Health Unit

GENEVA (JTA) — The
Arab states have requested
the World Health Organiza-
tion to grant the Palestine
Liberation Organization
the same sums WHO gives
to Israel.
This request was part of
the resolutions adopted dur-
ing the recent Arab _health
ministers conference in
Kuwait. The Arab minis-
ters also requested that
Arab contributions should
not be allocated to medical
research programs in Israel.
They also asked that
WHO appoint an Arab doc-
tor as deputy vice director of
the organization.

In Houston, Texas dog-
catchers are required to be
psychoanalyzed by a
psychiatrist to determine if
they are qualified to chase
stray mutts.
