PEOPLE WHO'VE
never been to Detroit are
quite disappointed when
they see that "Greektown"
is just a street mostly of re-
staurants . . . Many who
enjoy Greek food have found
it much better at restaur-
ants in the suburbs.
SULTAN'S TABLE,
Southfield and 10. Mile,
serves no pork at dinner.

ERS Bill O'Halloran and

nois seemingly never age .
both look great . . . Carl
Steger, Jakks pianist-
songster, is local show biz's
best ego inflater . . . and ter-
rific at his "name this tune"
sessions.
LOT OF PEOPLE say,
"Let's have a nightsm"
without realizing that there
actually is a drink called
Nightcap . . . Beat yolk of a
fresh egg, add one pony of
anisette, one pony orange
curacao, one pony of brandy.
Add hot water and leave a
call for 2 o'clock.

TIPS TO WAITERS and
waitresses . . . Customers do
not enjoy sitting at an
empty table . . . If your re-
staurant serves crackers,
cheese,-etc., be sure they are
on the table promptly . . . If
not, bring rolls or bread and
butter to the table . . . Dur-
ing meals, replenish the
bread supply if needed.
When serving steak,
suggest the customers cut
into it while you are there to
make certain it is cooked to
their liking . . . You should
also ask others if their
course is satisfactory.
MAIL DEPT . . . "Re-
member those delicious lit-
tle hamburgers, with pickle
and onion, which we used to
get at the old White Tower
for a nickel? They sold so
many that you knew it was
fresh meat. Or the corned
beef sandwiches at Broad-
way Market where you
stood up and ate them and
enjoyed them to the last
bite? Or the finish of an
evening at the old 'D & C'
(Dexter & Collingwood)
with your date? I guess
those days are gone forever,
but it is nice to look back
and lick your lips in mem-
ory of them all."

FIDDLER ON THE
RYE, Orchard Lake, is

DON'T COUNT THE
Shriners out yet insofar as

WE REPEAT the ad-
dress again of where to get

people who are choking .. .
