Meanwhile, the World
Zionist Congress election
committee turned down
requests from Foreign
Minister Moshe Dayan
and MK Samuel Flatto-
Sharon to be seated as de-
legates at the February
congress.
The committee ruled that
Dayan could be an observer,
but his seat should be given
to a Labor Alignment rep-
resentative. The committee
said Flatto-Sharon might be
a one-man party in the
Knesset but he was not a
Zionist party.
The Zionist Organization
of America is sending 22 de-
legates and a 100-man dele-
gation to the World Zionist
Congress. They will attend
the World Conference of
General Zionists in Tel Aviv
