Sq. N.. Birmingham, will
observe their golden wed-
ding anniversary Sunday.
The couple were married 50
years ago by the late Rabbi
Moses Fisher of Cong. Bnai
Moshe.
Berger was graduated

ics of National Security.
- Prior to his retirement
and before-, during and after
World War II, he was en-
gaged in aeronautical and
automotive engineering. has
been a member of the Mich-
igan Society of Professional
Engineers, is a senior mem-
ber of the Engineering So-
ciety of Detroit, and a life
member of the American
Society of Body (automo-
bile) Engineers.
He is past president of
Tikvah Lodge, Bnai Brith
and a member of the board
of trustees and adult Jewish
education chairman of the
Bnai Brith Council of Metro-
politan Detroit. He is a
member of Cong. Bnai
Moshe and its men's club, a
delegate to the Jewish Com-
munity Council of Metropol-
itan Detroit, and a volunteer
worker for the Allied Jewish
Campaign — Israel Emer-
gency Fund.

THE BERGERS

Mrs. Berger is past presi-
dent of Tikvah Chapter of
Bnai Brith Women, past
president of the Bnai Brith
Women's Council of Metro-
politan Detroit, past vice
president of Bnai Brith
Women's District 6. She
also is past president of the
Helen Rosenberg Cancer
Fighters, City- of Hope. She
received the "Nurse of Mer-
cy" award from the City of
Hope, "in recognition of her
volunteer services as presi-
dent of her chapter." She is
past president of Tel Guibo-
rim (Heroes Hill) that was,
organized by a group of
Jewish women in 1947 to
help support the Jewish
fighters for Israel's inde-
pendence. Mrs. Berger also
is a member of Cong. Bnai
Moshe and its sisterhood.
