Mr. Propess was_engaged in recent yearS in organiz- ing the international choir meetings in Israel, espe- cially the Jewish choir festi- val, the Zimriya, which he founded. He also initiated and or- ganized the Israeli -music and drama festivals which were held mainly in Cae- sarea's ancient amphithea- ter which he helped to reno- vate and reconstruct.
