Bnai Moshe Town Hall series 8 p.m. Sunday in the main_ sanctuary of the synagogue. Carmel will speak on "Con- verting Jews to Judaism." Carmel, a member of the faculty of the Yeshiva of Flatbush, N.Y., wrote about his conversion in "So Strange My Path." He speaks little of his con- version and devotes much of his time to Jewish issues. Carmel was graduated from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Yeshiva Univer- sity in 1966 and is currently enrolled in a doctoral pro- gram. He lived and taught in Israel for two years and plans to settle there.
