Weds in Florida

Julie Ann Fisher, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Max
Fisher of Franklin, became
the bride of Peter David
Cummings of Montreal and
Palm Beach, Fla., Jan. 2,
three days before the cere-
mony she had already
plaruied.

Plans for the affair, to
have been held Jan. 5, were
canceled and a private cere-
mony was held in the li-
brary of the Fishers' Flor-
ida home.

Rabbi Richard C. Hertz ,of
Detroit's Temple Bet El,
vacationing in Florida at
the time, officiated.

Eli Levin Auxiliary will pre-
sent a skit. Members will
receive 25- and 30-year pins.

TEL AVIV, (JTA) — Aha-
ron Tzvi Propess, one of
Zeev Jabotinsky's disciples
and first member of Betar,/
died Jan. 4 at age 73.
Mr. Propess was_engaged
in recent yearS in organiz-
ing the international choir
meetings in Israel, espe-
cially the Jewish choir festi-
val, the Zimriya, which he
founded.
He also initiated and or-
ganized the Israeli -music
and drama festivals which
were held mainly in Cae-
sarea's ancient amphithea-
ter which he helped to reno-
vate and reconstruct.
