Marble Cake
By NORMA BARACH
(Copyright 1977, JTA, Inc.)
No one will suspect that
this cake recipe was not
made from scratch. It is
moist and flavorful and not
difficult to make, since it
makes use of a cake mix.
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 cup water
_
Y2 cup oil
4 large eggs
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
6 ozs. chocolate syrup --
1 8-oz. carton pareve whipping
cream
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix together cake mix, water,
oil, eggs and pudding until well
blended. Pour three-fourths of
batter into a greased bundt
pan. Mix remaining one-fourth
batter with syrup. Pour on top
of yellow batter in pan. Bake at
- 350 degrees for 50 minutes or
until toothpick tests done. Cool.
Whip pareve cream with
vanilla. Frost cake. Serves 12.
