MESSAGE OF ISRAEL:
L 544-0454
He started the movement
himself, increasing his pur-
chase in that amount for the
coming year. He also urged
that payments for Bond pur-
chases be made promptly.
Albert Lipton, director of
the Detroit Israel Bond Or-
ganization, announced that
a record is being set here
this year with the sale of $7
million in Bonds. He said
that $500,000 in payments
are yet to be made and
through the fulfillment of
this need, through the Israel
Bond cash payments cam-
paign headed by Dr. Max
Hoffman, the all-time re-
cord can be broken. .

ability of help in solving
that problem with the as-
sistance of the Israel Bond
Organization. He therefore
urged that the investments
so vital for Israel be made
in the form of Israel Bond
purchases, thus to provide
the necessary funds for
housing and other ways of
aiding Israel's economy.
David Holtzman, presi-
dent of the Israel Prime
Minister's Club which in-
cludes purchasers of Israel
Bonds in amounts of $25,000
and more, urged that in
honor of Israel's approach-
ing 30th birthday the basic
figure be changed to $30,000.
