Provides Meals _
for Israeli Kids

NEW YORK — Mrs. Ken-
neth Michael, vice president

of Women's Social Service
for Israel (WSSI), an organ-
ization that concerns itself
with providing medical
care, rehabilitation, hous-
ing, food and clothing for
Israel's aged, stated recent-
ly in an address at a WSSI
Symposium at the Carnegie
Endowment Center in New
York City, that despite the
organization's concentration
on the needs of the elderly,
it manages to provide food
for a great many handi-
capped children.
Mrs. Michael said that
WSSI has "adopted" the
handicapped children at the
Kennedy Institute and the
deaf and mute children at
the Helen Keller Institute in
Jerusalem, and provides
them with over 6,000 hot,
nutritious meals each
month.
