Invitations for All Occasions

Rehearsing for their fifth musical comedy program,
"Damn Yanker," are members of the' Detroit Chapter of
the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Shown from left, are:
Jeanne Bortz, choreographer; Drs. Robert Galin, Ron
Miller, Sam Weiner, Ed Schneider, Joel Schaumberg and
Alden Leib. The men will present the program Dec. 14, 15
and 17 at Southfield Lathrup High School.

1 lb. red potatoes
2 medium onions
3 large eggs
Vs cup matzo meal
1 tsp. parsley flakes
salt (to taste)
pepper (to taste)
oil
Cut up potatoes and onions
and grate together in blender.
(Note: to grate vegetables in a
blender, make sure they are
covered with cold water.) Drain
well. Add all ingredients except
oil. Heat oil in large, heavy skil-
let. Drop potato batter by the
tablespoonful into the hot oil.
Brown on both sides. Drain on
white paper towels. Serve hot
with apple sauce, sour cream, or
cinnamon and sugar.
Hints: for crispy latkes, be
sure to use enough oil. To
reheat latkes, place in oven.

1 cup boiling water
2 Tetley Tea bags
3 cups grapefruit juice
3 cups orange juice
dash of ginger
sliver of lemon rind
sugar (optional)

Pour boiling water over tea,
then remove tea- bags. Heat (do
not boil) juices and pour into
tea. Add ginger, sugar if
desired and lemon rind. .
