Women of Jewish National Fund members at the JNF
48th annual donor kick-off event held recently at Temple
Emanu-El were, from left: Diane Levine, president; Ethel
Palman, program chairman of the day; Dr. Samuel I.
Cohen, executive vice president of the JNF of America,
guest speaker; Shirley Kraft, general program chairman;
and Betty Silverman, fund-raising chairman. The donor
drive goal is $250,000, money to be used to complete a sum-
mer youth camp in Israel. The donor drive will be con-
ducted through Jan. 10.

Workmen's Circle

Schools to Benefit
From Fund Raiser

Workmen's Circle Schools
will hold a holiday bazaar
noon-6 p.m. Sunday in the
Labor Zionist Institute.
The bazaar is the annual
fund-raising project for
Workmen's Circle Schools.
There will be sales of handi-
crafts, plants, toys, jewelry
as well as a bake sale, white
elephant sale, book
exchange, Entertainment
'78 books and prizes. There
will be an arts-crafts booth
for children, and buffet
meals will be served all
day.

1 No. 303 size can peas,
drained
1 8-oz. can cut green beans,
drained
1 2-oz. jar pimento strips,
drained
1 /4 cup chopped celery (fresh)
4 black olives, sliced
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
clash of paprika
Combine all vegetables in a
bowl which has a cover. In
another bowl, mix mayonnaise,
lemon juice, salt and paprika.
Add the mayonnaise mixture to
the vegetables and stir. Cover
salad and refrigerate three or
more hours. Serves 4.
