Mrs. Fannie Kimelman, a
resident of the Jewish Home
for the Aged, was recently
honored with the presenta-
tion of a life membership to
Hadassah by her niece,
Maity Kelsten, and her
daughter, Min Pershing, to
honor her 93rd birthday.
Besides -. her niece and

the celebration, held in the
"Nosh Nook" at Borman
Hall, were niece Sarah Lev;

from an active Zionist fam-
ily in Toronto. Her brother,
Dr. Morris Schwartz, a
practicing dentist, was a
member of a Hadassah
Medical Unit in Palestine
from 1919 to 1921. Mrs.
Kimelman remembers
meeting Henrietta Szold on
one of her visits to Toronto
in the early 1920's.
