fields of international rela-
tions, international law and
comparative government.
Following studies at Haifa
and Hebrew Universities,
and the University of Lon-
don, Dr. Plotkin pursued
graduate studies at Prince-
ton University where he
was the first Israeli to be
admitted to the Woodrow
Wilson School of Public and
International Affairs. He
earned MA and PhD
degrees at Princeton, where
he taught in the department
of politics.
He has made frequent
trips to the U.S. and Can-
ada, and has appeared on
television and radio and on
lecture tours sponsored by
the University of Wisconsin
and the University of Min-
nesota. He has taught
advanced courses at the
City University of New
York. Fluent in several lan-
guages, Dr. Plotkin also is a
