Reconstructionists Will Celebrate 10th

NEW YORK—Publisher
Charles D. Lieber, president
of Lieber-Atherton, Inc. will
chair the committee for the
New York celebration of the
10th anniversary of the
founding of the Reconstruc-
tionist Rabbinical College,
in Philadelphia, under the

auspices of the Jewish
Reconstructionist Founda-
tion.
Inaugurating the year of
celebration throughout the
United States and Canada, a
dinner will be held at the
Pierre Hotel in New York
City, Nov. 19.

Following last summer's American Library Association
meetings in Detroit, Dr. Bernard Goldman, director of the ,
Wayne State University Press, presented two WSU Press
volumes to Rachel Cohen, director of public libraries in
Jerusalem. • The books are "Tradition and Politics : The
Religious Parties of Israel" and "Kate Greenaway: A Cata-
logue of the Kate Greenaway Collection of the Rare Book
Room, Detroit Public Library."
