David S. Tanzman, assist-
ant regional director of the

has been named a recipient
of the 1977 Amudim Award
of Torah Umesorah, the
National Society for Hebrew
Day Schools, it was
announced by Samuel C.
Feuerstein, national presi-
dent of the organization.

given each year to out-

The Michigan Association
of Certified Public Account-
ants will hold its third
annual estate planning con-
ference Thursday at the
Raleigh House.
The conference will focus
on the role of the CPA in
estate planning. An update
on the Estate and Gift Tax
Reform Act of 1976 and a
review of new decisions,
rulings and pending legisla-
tion are included in this all-
day program.
