miere of the film, "Homage
to Chagall: Colors of Love"
at a special meeting Nov. 5,
at the main Jewish Commu-
nity Center complex, Akiva
Baum, Israel scholar,
attorney and journalist, will
be guest speaker, a recep-
tion at 8 p.m. will precede
the film:
"Homage to Chagall" was
written, produced and
directed by the award-win-
ning Canadian filmmaker
Harry Rasky. The film, nar-
rated by Actor James
Mason, was shot in half a
dozen, countries in the past
two years.
Recently returned from
Israel, where he met with
several academic and politi-
cal figures, Baum has done
considerable research on
Chagall and his relationship
to Israel.
Admission is by invitation
only, and reservations are
required.
