The Dino de Laurentis organization, pro- ducers of the new, stream- lined "Hurricane," tell us that the screenplay by Lorenzo Semple, Jr. (who also did "King Kong") has not even been completed and no cast is set except Jessica Lange, the girl kid- napped by the gorilla in "King Kong." The love story set against violent storms in the South Seas has been updated to fit today's taste. Negotiations are in progress for Charles Bronson to play the male lead. Shooting is scheduled to commence in Bora Bora, Feb. 1, 1978. After "A Bridge Too Far," it is the second collabora- tion between producer Levine, novelist Goldman and director Attenborough. "Magic" goes before the cameras in Hollywood January. Walter Mirisch is pre- paring filmization of the Broadway play, "Same Ilme, Next Year."
