Aliya Movement Holds 1st Seminar NEW YORK (JTA)—The North American Aliya Movement (NAAM) held its first national board meeting and first leadership devel- opment seminar at the International Synagogue at Kennedy Airport recently. A resolution was adopted at the meeting to strongly recommend to the Jewish Agency that former Ameri- cans who have successfully settled in Israel be used as shlikhim rather than native- born Israelis, since the for- mer Americans are gener- ally the most effective in dealing with the American Jewish community. Linda Brown was elected NAAM president. k •1" DECORATOR BLINDS •VERTICAL BLINDS •WOVEN WOODS •CUSTOM & STOCK SHADES •CUSTOM SHUTTERS •FORMICA •WALLCOVERING • HAND PRINTS .1 GRASS CLOTH • CORKS • LINENS INSTALLATION AVAILABLE INCOMING FREIGHT WILL BE ADDED Weft ArlaginlIC PAINT 542-3315 &WALLPAPER 23061 COOLIDGE HWY., OAK PARK, AT 9 MI. ‹ . / 4111 .
