Campaign's Metropolitan Div.
to Cite Workers for 1977 Drive

The Allied Jewish Cam-
paign-Israel Emergency
Fund's Metropolitan Divi-
sion will honor 144 organiza-
tions and 200 individuals at
its annual awards cere-
mony, Oct. 23, in Shiffman
Hall of the Jewish Commu-
nity Center. The .10 a.m.
ceremony follows a conti-
nental breakfast at 9:45.
The Metropolitan Division
presents yearly awards to
organizations which contrib-
ute treasury gifts to the pre-
vious Campaign and to indi-
viduals who served as
workers within the division.
This meeting also serves to
recognize the efforts of offi-
cers and board members.
Jane Sherman, a local
member of the United Jew-
ish Appeal National
Women's Division Board
and chairman of the new
national Young Women's
Leadership Cabinet, will be
guest speaker. Mrs. Sher-
man led the Detroit Service
Group Study Mission which
has just returned from a 10-
day tour of Israel and will
speak on "Israel
Revisited."
