Bnai Brith Women Hold Fall Event, Luncheon to Honor Estelle Robinson

Bnai Brith Women will
hold their fifth annual fall
festival noon Sunday at
Cong. Bnai Moshe.
There will be boutique
browsing and shopping, a
coffee shop, a cafeteria
where there will be a vari-
ety of foods, continuous cos-
metic and needlecraft dem-

onstrations. At 1 p.m. there
will be a flower arranging
demonstration; at 2 p.m. a
Chinese cooking demonstra-
tion by Ina Tchen; at 3 p.m.
a microwave cooking dem-
onstration by Winifred Kelly
of the Detroit Edison Co.;
and at 4 p.m. Marcia
Sikarskie will demonstrate
how to make hors
d'oeuvres.

Klinger as overall festival
chairman. Assisting her are
Barbara Gorzeck, co-chair-
man and boutique coordina-
tor; and ticket chairman,

presidents, are advisers.

festival are available
through Bnai Brith
Women's chapters or by
calling Ms. Goodman, 541-
2914; Ms. Klinger, 476-4580;
or Ms. Gorzeck, 559-4817.

Meanwhile, the women
will honor Estelle Robinson
at their Golden Gifts Lunch-
eon noon Oct. 27 at Knoll-
wood Country Club. The
luncheon highlights the Bnai
Brith Youth and Services
Appeal which supports the
agencies and programs of
the international service
organization.
Mrs. Robinson is a past
president of Detroit Lodge
Chapter, Bnai Brith
Women, and also is a mem-
ber of Morgenthau Chapter.
She has held numerous
chairmanships on the Bnai
Brith Women's Council of
Metropolitan Detroit and
has served on the Bnai Brith
Women District 6 Board of
Directors. A past president
of both the Bnai Brith
Women Bowling Association
of Metropolitan Detroit and
of District 6, Mrs. Robinson
is a former vice chairman
of the Michigan Region Bnai
Brith Youth Organization
Board which she has served
as a member for many

years. She is a member of
the board of governors of
the Hillel Foundation at
Wayne State University.
Mrs. Robinson is a past
president of the Brandeis

A life member of Bnai
Brith Women, Mrs. Robin-
son is a life member of
Hadassah, National Council
of Jewish Women, Bar-Ilan
University, Jewish National
Fund, Sinai Hospital Guild
and Children's Hospital.
