Flint Obituaries

Rose Severin, a member
of Cong. Beth Israel and
Ann Lebster of Hadassah,
died Sept. 22.
Born in Russia, Mrs.
Severin is survived by a
son, Robert of Boca Raton,
Fla; two daughters, Alice
Katz and Rita Sills; six
grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.

Dr. Sniderman

Dr. Stephen R. Sniderman
of Chicago died Sept. 16.
He is survived by three
sons, Daniel, Alexander and
Peter; two daughters, Nina
and Julia; a brother, Dr. A.
James Sniderman of Day-
ton, Ohio; and his mother,
Mrs. Benjamin Sniderman

The Flint Jewish commu-
nity will sponsor a tribute
dinner on behalf of the State
of Israel Bonds 7 p.m. Oct.
16 at Cong. Beth Israel, hon-
oring Murray E. Moss.
Moss will be presented, at
the dinner, with the state of
Israel's United Jerusalem

of the 10th anniversary of
the reunification of
Jerusalem.
The honoree-elect is presi-
dent of the Flint Jewish
Community Council ; presi-
dent of the Genesee Memo-
rial Hospital.
Moss is a past president

Federation of Jewish Men's
Club. He is a past chairman
of the United Jewish
Appeal; the State of Israel
Bonds Organization and the
Genesee County Democratic
