At the Israel Bond dinner in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Rich, at the Tam-O-Shanter, Saturday evening, it was announced that a set of flags with Hebrew lettering were presented the 18-hole golf course here. At each table at the din- ner for the 200 guests, there were reproductions of the Hebrew-lettered flags. The $653,000 reported in Bond purchases at the din- ner set a new record for such events at local func- tions, with Tam-O-Shanter expected to inspire similar events at country clubs. An entertaining and, at the same time, informative address by Joey Adams and evaluative speeches by Al Colman and Dr. Leon Fill marked the evening's program.
