Hadassah Offers Mini Courses
Metropolitan Detroit
Chapter of Hadassah will
offer a four-week course on
Jewish subjects beginning
Oct. 19. The course will
meet from 10 a.m. to noon
on Wednesdays at the
United Hebrew Schools.
Mrs. Myron Joyrich, edu-
cation vice president, said
the sessions will include a
discussion of Israeli poli-
tics, including the political
structure, the party system,
religion and politics, and an
analysis of the 1977 elec-
tion.

course.
Another four-week course
will meet from 1-3 p.m.
Mondays, beginning Nov.
21. It will focus on modern
Jewish women writers and

Jewish woman's experience
in America: short stories
by Tille Olsen, Cynthia
Ozick and Grace Paley;
E.M. Broner's novel "Her
