Fla.. their trip to Israel this summer was an occasion to strengthen their ties with the many move- ments they had been in- volved in in support of Is- rael. The Dantos' current visit to Israel was in observance of their 55th wedding anni- versary. They also visited Israel 16 years ago. Upon Dr. Danto's retire- ment. after practicing den- tistry for 50 years. the Dantos made their home in South Pasadena. Fla. dy Agencieo ous temple functions. In Detroit they were among the pioneers in Temple Israel, Mrs. Danto having presided over the sis- terhood and chaired numer- Their Israel visit was an occasion for renewal of rela- tionships with Hadassah. Lisa. daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Bruce Danto. who was in Is- rael with the youth group from Temple Israel. There - was an enthusiastic visit with the Temple Israel group. whose tour of the Jewish state was under the direction of Rabbi Loso. Mrs. Danto is a member of the Florida Women of the Press and the National Federation of Press Women. and women repre- sentatives of the Israel press joined in extending sa- lutations to her. Jeffrey of Ann Arbor. Par- ents of the bridegroom are Dr. and Mrs. Max Honey- man of Southfield. Attend- ing the couple were Ann Jef- frey, sister of the bride. and John G. Posa. The new Mrs. Honeyman attends law school at Seton Hall University. Her husband is enrolled in a doctoral pro- gram in computer science at Princeton University. The couple is living in Princeton.
