The woodland will honor the memory of Aron Klein, Samuel Weisz and Esther Weisz. Mr. Klein is the fa- ther of Lillian. Samuel and Esther Weisz are the par- ents of Melvin Weisz. When Esther Weisz died in 1974, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Weisz planted the Weisz Family Grove in her memory. The Klein-Weisz Memo- rial Woodland will be lo- cated in the American Bi- centennial National Park, in the Judean Hills, south- west of Jerusalem, in a bib- lically historic area where Samson fought the Philis- tines and David slew Exclusive WALLCOVERINGS Specializing In Estate Sales and Purchases Goliath. The woodland is being established through Jewish National Fund by Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Weisz and family. A local meat dealer, Mr. Klein was a member of Pis- gah Lodge of Bnai Brith and Cong. Bnai Moshe. After his retirement he becam a member of the Jewish Center Business- yen's Club. Samuel Weisz was a kosh- er butcher and a longtime member of Cong. Bnai Moshe and the Hebrew Ben- evolent Society. Mrs. Weisz was active in the Bnai Moshe Sisterhood. Melvin Weisz is a past president of the Metropol- itan Detroit Bnai Brith Council and is a former chairman of the Michigan Regional Board of the Anti- Defamation League. He is a past president of Cong. Bnai Moshe. He is a former president of the Hillel Day School and a member of the board of directors of the United Hebrew Schools.
