The Chabad-Lubavitch or-
ganization of Michigan ha-s
announced the opening of a
new Chabad House drop-in
center for Jewish students
in the city of Grand Rapids.
The center is- located at
1549 Michigan, near
Plymouth Road, in the
city's north-east section.
The house has a lounge
which will be equipped to
serve as a chapel and li-

The couple will use the
Chabad House as a base of
operations for lessons, lec-
tures, rap sessions and Sha-
bat and holiday festivities
for students at Grand
Rapids Community College,
Grand Rapids Junior Col-
lege and Grand Valley
State Colleges. In addition,
they will establish a pro-
gram of regular visits and
classes to Ferris State Col-
lege, to Kalamazoo College,

and Western Michigan Uni-
versity and to the young
men and women of Muske-
gon, Grand Haven and Bent-
