AMSTERDAM (JTA)—
The pro-Israel "Working
o Hear Rackman on Thursday Group Israel" in Holland

has cabled the chairman of
Israel's Knesset to protest
against the establishment
of three new Jewish settle-
ments on the West Bank.

The group was estab-

to counteract pro-Palesti-
nian propaganda in Hol-
land. It consists of Jews
and non-Jews, mostly
young, and is not affiliated
with any Zionist or Jewish

Israelis to Chance Instant Lottery

LANSING—Although lot-
teries are old hat to Is-
rael—the state has two
weekly games, one benefits
Magen David Adorn, the
other helps hospitals—the
country is interested in
starting its own "instant
game," similar to that con-
ducted in Michigan and in
several other states.
To learn more about the
Michigan game, two Israeli
representatives, Moshe Tal-
man, deputy director of the
Israeli national lottery, and
Gideon Lerman, a govern-
ment printer, were in Lan-
sing last week to study the

lottery..When they tried the
game themselves. they lost.
More than $1 million is
raised weekly from the Is-
raeli lotteries, while Mich-
igan grosses about $5 mil-
lion.

Irving Nusbaum and David Hermelin, co-chairmen of
the annual dinner of Detroit Friends of Bar-Ilan Univer-
sity, to be held Thursday at Cong. Shaarey Zedek, stated
that the gift made by Abraham J. Cutler to establish a
Chair in Halakha and Homiletics has helped boost the De-
troit gifts to the university. The photo shows Mr. Cutler re-
ceiving a plaque that notes the establishment of the Univer-
sity Chair in memory of his father, Solomon Nathan Cut-
ler. Nusbaum and Hermelin said that while a capacity au-
dience is anticipated, reservations still are available for
next Thursday's Bar-Ilan dinner, which will be addressed
by Bar-Ilan President Emanuel Rackman.

Our high-interest certificate savings accounts
help you earn extra money by waifing.

Pretend it's six years from now.
You go to your desk drawer and look at the six-year certificate
savings account you opened back in_1977. Remember the $1,000 you
took to First Federal Savings of Detroit? Well, now it's $1,584.00. And all
you had to do to get that additional $584.00 was wait.

Of course, if you'd rather pretend it's four years from now, or
two and a half, or even just one, we can show you plans that still will
turn your money into more than you might have thought possible.

And remember, too, that you can have certificate savings accounts
in addition to your regular savings account (which earns 51/4%
per year daily interest, paid and compounded quarterly). In fact,
that's how many people get the money to open a certificate
savings account. They save for it.

What's more, at First Federal, certificate savings accounts can
entitle you to a number of special services, many not
available anywhere else. We think you should know about these
things because we know that money is important for you.

So don't wait to find out.
We know what money is for.

Sixty, boys, mainly from religious high schools in devel-
opment areas in Israel, have been spending two weeks of
their summer vacation at Bar-Ilan, Israel's only religious
oriented university, participating in a study project com-
bining religion and science, mostly biology, chemistry,
physics and computers. These students are shown in the
life science laboratory.
