JERUSALEM (JTA)—A
bomb went, off in the
crowded Gaza vegetable
market Saturday seriously
injuring an Arab. The small
explosive charge was hid-
den under a cart in the mar-
ket, the largest in the Gaza
Strip, according to security
forces.
Another bomb also went
off near the Jaffa Gate in
Jerusalem. Nobody was
hurt and there was no dam-
age. -
A woman and two chil-
dren were injured last week
when a bomb exploded in a
garbage can in a crowded
street in the center of Na-
tanya.
Another incident was
averted when a soldier in
Rehovot noticed a package
aboard a bus traveling
from Tel Aviv to Beer-
sheba. It contained an explo-
sive device which was deto-
nated harmlessly by police.
