in Flint for High Holy Days

Cong,_ Beth Israel an-
nounces that Rabbi Solo-
mon Poupko of Southfield
will lead the services for
Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur
and Sukkot.
Rabbi Poupko served at
Cong. Bnai David in South-
field and in Brooklyn, Mexi-
co and South Africa. He
was a chaplain in the U.S.
Navy, where he received
six commedations. Rabbi
Poupko studied at Yeshiva
Tifereth Yerushalayim, Ye-
shiva Torah Vodaath, Ye-
shiva University and the
Misrei Yeshiva.
Rabbi Poupko is the recip-
ient of the Brub.aker Fellow-
ship Award for excellence
in Talmud and Codes. He
has lectured at various col-
leges and universities in
Mexico, South Africa and in
the United States.

Temple Committee
Will Hold Meeting
