Teller Director of Youth-Education 357-5544 SHOW YOUR CHILDREN WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF • • You're a Jew. Your faith and values have been forged out of the visions and traditions of millions of Jews throughout history. And that heritage has been passed on from generation to generation through synagogues all over the world. For over 2,000 years. But Synagogues cannot continue to preserve the heritage of our fathers and shape the destinies of our children unless you help keep the synagogue vital and alive and growing to meet the changing needs of our changing times. Not just by an occasional thought. But by reinforcing the role of the synagogue as it continues its historic mission of identifying new areas of • need and awakening the conscience of the community to meet them. But by becoming a member of a synagogue if you do not already belong. And by providing your child with a Jewish education. And by active participation in synagogue programs to strengthen and unite your family. For your sake, we call upon you and every Jewish family in the Detroit area to become a member of a synagogue. Can you do any less for your children? The members of the Synagogue Council of Greater Detroit urge you to join a Synagogue now TEMPLE BETH EL CONGREGATION BETH SHALOM 7400 Telegraph Road Birmingham, Mich., 48010 14601 Lincoln Road Oak Park, Michigan 48237 1457 Griswold Detroit, Mich. 48226 Rabbi David A.
