Richardson recently re-
turned from a national bank-
ers delegation trip to Is-
rael, under the auspices of
Israel Bonds. It was while
in Israel that Israel Fi-
nance Minister Simha Ehrl-
ich extended the invitation
to Richardson to accept the
significant tribute.
In accepting, Richardson
said, "I am honored to be
selected to receive the
award. During my recent
trip to Israel. I found an ex-
tremely ambitious country.
I was particularly im-
pressed with the- intensity
and dedication of the people
and their determination to
make their country a suc-
cess.
"Everywhere I went I
saw evidence of their techni-
cal and scientific know-how
and its practical application
in business and industry."
